I am a biologist, ornithologist and animal behaviorist who is currently in pursuit of a doctoral degree at the University of Washington in Seattle, WA, USA.

For my doctorate, I am studying animal communication in the birdsong lab of Dr. Michael Beecher of the UW Biology and Psychology Departments.

My thesis research is focusing on vocal communication in the Stripe-headed Sparrow (Aimophila ruficauda) in Costa Rica.
