I am a biologist, ornithologist and animal behaviorist who is currently in pursuit of a doctoral degree at the University of Washington in Seattle, WA, USA.

I am studying animal communication in the birdsong lab of Dr. Michael Beecher of the UW Biology and Psychology Departments.

The focus of my dissertation is vocal communication in the stripe-headed sparrow (Aimophila ruficauda) in Costa Rica.
